My friend did this with her kids last year and her eldest son shared that it was the most fun he’d had at gift openings, because he got to see the reaction of a loved one opening a gift he made specifically for them. It mattered more. The time you might spend at the mall or online shopping could be spent around the table crafting and making memories.
